Would you like an opportunity to share your blessings and help to bless those in need this Thanksgiving? WTCC has committed to providing 50 “Baskets of Hope” to Knox Area Rescue Ministries. ”Baskets of Hope” provide families in need with a complete Thanksgiving dinner for up to six people.
With unemployment still high, KARM expects as many as 1,400 families to seek assistance in providing Thanksgiving dinner for their family. To participate, pick up a bag or box and a grocery shopping list at the display table in the lobby. Decorate the box and fill it with the listed grocery items. You may also include a note of prayer, a card, or devotional book.
Or, you may donate $15 and someone will shop for you. Also, put a check for $10 payable to West Towne in the envelopes provided to buy the turkey needed to complete the baskets. November 13 is the deadline to bring in your bag of groceries and check for the turkey and place it at the KARM “Baskets of Hope” display in the lobby. This is a great project to involve the whole family in thanksgiving!
